Definately the Trevor Wye fisrt book on tone. This is excellent! My tone doubled in quality in just 3 days (*note - I practice about 3-4 hours a day so it may take more than three days)

My advice would be for you to practise doing it extremely slowly
(1/4 beat =50 or even slower) while thinking of the proper tonguing syllables while playing them.

After 6 1/2 years of playing, I have realized I do not properly tongue. The actual problem is not my tongue, but the fact that I do not use my tongue but rather the back of my throat.
