I do have the book, Essential elements 2000 plus the DVD. True, working from a book is sometimes difficult, and it would be easier, I guess, to watch people. I just don't know where to put my fingers. It shows how to in books, but the diagrams, I feel just aren't big enough for me to get a clear pic...

Can someone tell me if there is an easy, self-taught flute book out there? I have the book "Flute for Dummies" which helps, but was wondering if there are any other good, self - taught books for learning to play the flute?
