My best friend, Michaela, plays clarinet
and has a case that holds the instrument, music, and books, and a little
compartment for pencils or anything. They have the same thng for the flutes!

There are 6 flutes in my 6th grade
band, and about......40 in the whole band, and that is including high schoolers
who come over to play with us.

In my band the first chairs are always acting like they're better than everyone in the band. That gets me frustrated because anytime the teacher asks me to play the song, to show everyone, they always laugh and ask are you sure you want her up there. I hate it, but i am going to have to learn to jus...

I have a tight flute, and people say to use cork
grease or vasaline, does that work? What could i do? I don''t know if i should
try it...

I am new to flutes too, i got a tip. Try playing
with just the headjoint. And if flutes run in your family, u have a better
chance of learning it because, you can get help from your family.
