I've been playing flute for a while and I could articulate well without tonguing (just with the lips). But I've been playing the bassoon for a few weeks (a double reed instrument) and ive developped different cheek muscles and I can't articulate anymore without tonguing. 2nd octave...
hi..i just started playing the flute about three weeks ago...i can play notes from C1 to D2, but anything above i cant play! i can play higher notes where u change the fingers, like A3 or G3 (like its not the same fingering as the lowest octave) ive seen from other posts that i should tighten my emb...

ya...im not sure whether or not this has been
mentioned, but once you get to higher grades you'll see stuff like double
sharps and double flats...which i dont really see the point of [:p] good

thanks...the pads just make this sticky sound when i press
on it, but it comes back up. also, (sheepish face) i think my flute is plated,
but im not sure. its okay though, since its not that bad and i can ask my flute
