Lark flute manufacturer??

Thanks Powayflute. I have decided to sell the
flute back on Ebay...if no one buys it (I have put a £70 reserve on it so I get
most of my money back) then I'll take it to my local music store and see if I
can part exchange it for a Yamaha or the like. Thanks all for your help [:)] Ali

Actually, can anyone recommend a good solid instrument for a beginner to get a decent sound out of [:)] Should I go for something like a Yamaha, or Boosey and Hawkes, or anything else? And now for the age old question - open or closed hole? The Lark on is closed and is quite comfortable position-wis...
