I started playing in 5th grade. And I'm now in 8th. So Not to long. it's my 4th year. But everyone else in my school started in 6th except for one girl who started in 4th.

Well i know you said you got it, but i'm gonna just tell you what it is just in case. A trill is where you play the note writen and the note directly above it back and forth very quickly with one breath. Well hope i helped.

I've noticed that on my gemeinhardt flute comparied to my friends um..I foget what brand..it is harder to get out low notes, but i don't think thats the case in this situation. i'd do what the other person said get it cheacked for leaks. on little leak can definatly throw you off a bit.
