theobald boehm was the guy that invented the key system for the flute, instead of open holes (like a recorder..) b4 that
also put a system of keys like this to the clarinet aswell..

dunno much about pearl as a flute maker as ive only been playing flute for a week.. but i can tell ya everythign u wud wanna know about pearl drums! lol

lol i do that all the time... to type with only 2 fingers... but as im a drummer i can get up to a high speed with the 2 fingers..... so my typing can get messy!

i just started last week too lol. i signed up as a member, and theresa fingering chart on there that tells u all the notes... im findin this very useful!

so far so good... apparently nobody find the drummers annoying!! excellent :D.... when i was at school im now 21 the perso i found most annoyin was the percussionist in te band... he couldent take the drum set cos i was sat there already, so he was always windin me up and playin the wrong thign on p...

my flute just says maple on it, its borrowed, on the top joint..... bt im getting a gold and purple flute of mjy own i been playin about a week or so.....
