Very Nice!
Re: Jazz Flute Jamming Study
Not only is this nice, but notice the flute they guy is playing! Proves my point about the PLAYER vs the Instrument!

Re: Jazz Flute Jamming Study
Actually the flute i play is,
from china and only 80$ cost.
Its a simple cupronickel flute but i love its sound and open holes.
Ideal for jazzy works i guess...
but at that video my tone is not that good actually, there are several articulation mistakes maybe next record i can show a better performance of that flute.
one more thing,
this is the first time i've noticed that im moving too much...

That was a suprise for me...
from china and only 80$ cost.

First of all, that was my point. Because you are a decent player over all, you are still able to make music on what a lot of people consider to be a substandard instrument.elektrolikit wrote:Actually the flute i play is, from china and only 80$ cost.

I have owned a few of those Chinese specials myself, even did performances with them. There are a lot of people who believe that they need a $5000 flute just to play. This video is just something else that proves otherwise!
As far as your "Articulation", that is something that comes over time. Keep in mind that there are a lot of "Jazz Flute Players" that write out their "improvised solos" and perfect them. Not TRUE improvisation, but keep that in mind if a Jazz solo sounds too perfect.
Thanks again for sharing!
