about seven...

I play the cello too, so I need to split up my time, but generally I try to get in an hour or more a day, with a ton of cramming in on the weekends when I have a busy week...which, sadly, is most of the time.

4) Do you play any other instruments?

I just answered my own question, didn't I? Yes, cello, for about six years as well, and a little bit of piano just for relaxation. And I rock at the kazoo, let me tell you.

5) Tell us something non-music related about you?

Books and sleeping are my two favorite things in the entire world. My favorite books...ah, there are so many. I love Austen, Oscar Wilde, Robin McKinley when I'm really tired, Jeff and Michael Shaara when I don't mind being depressed...the list goes on. I also love movies...again, for relaxation I love Phantom of the Opera, LOTR, Pride and Prejudice...and when I don't mind being depressed, Brokeback Mountain leaves them all behind.

3) How often and how long do you practice? umm well since i'm a student and i have a job and other things to keep up with, i pracitce little days but in long amounts

5) Tell us something non-music related about you? i love to read!!! anyone else? I'm a total Clive Cussler fan!! For those of you who don't know, he wrote the book that was made into the movie Sahara and i must say, i loved the movie, and adored the book!! i've been hooked ever since!! He also founded NUMA and it's located in Northern VA, for all of you who don't know what that is, it's an association that uncovers ships and historical things at the bottom of then sea..it's soooo cool!!!!

Hmm...When busy maybe 15 min. But usually 30 to 1 hour depends how long I stay on tone exercises...But basically almost everyday.

Piano! I've played for about 7-8 years and lovin it. It's a great advantage to play piano and then take up flute. You get your fingerings down a lot faster.

5) Tell us something non-music related about you?

I like Rent! I am, according to some mean people, "a crazy nerd suck up to teachers". Lol. Can't wait till they learn to "grow up"

hmm...I try to practice every day, and when I practice for about an hour, although that's a little wishful...30 minutes at the very least...it varies, sometimes 40 minutes, sometimes two hours.

Currently in high school. Plays in school symphonic band, has private lessons, though only once a month cos I can't afford it! =(

Struggled on my own for about two years, then finally decided to get a private tutor. Had lessons for about a year now.

I try to practise every day, at least four hours spread throughout the day.

I used to play drumkits but I decided I should concentrate on one instrument seriously... and I chose flute! =)
