I own a 225s, and it is an OK flute. However "need adjustment" is a very broad term. If you have 400+ dollars to spend, you can find something new, or in new condition for that. I found my 225s at a local Samash store for 200USD in good playable condition. A used Armstrong 104 will go for the same money or less. I would not go over $250 for a used one in good playable condition.

"Needs service" is certainly a statement that could mean anything. I would find out in more detail just what it really does need.
Phineas is right. They are good flutes, but if you look around you might be able to get a new one for the same or for less than it would cost to service this flute, depending on exactly what it needs to have done.
