Emperor Flute

Postby NCUSA » Tue Oct 09, 2018 12:41 pm

Hi all,
I have been looking into buying another flute. I had a really bad experience with a nickel silver Selmer flute, although I was told it was a good American made flute. I just stumbled across an EMPEROR flute, closed hole, like new for about $200.

Is that a good brand?

Any advise would be really appreciated.

The Emperor flutes are pretty basic from what little I know about them. Personally, I’d recommend paying the extra for a student Yamaha 212. It’s a great instrument to begin with.
