Wisdom Tooth Removal and Flute Playing Help

Postby ryann_krnbts127 » Sat Nov 24, 2018 1:50 pm

It's been four days since I've gotten all four wisdom teeth pulled and I've been wanting to play my flute because I haven't practiced at all this Thanksgiving Break due to this. I've been doing some research and I was wondering if I actually do have to wait 2-3 weeks to start playing again. I have to start practicing soon for my winter band concert that is December 11th. I know that's only four weeks away but I really have to be able to work my way up to how I was performing at the beginning of the band season after marching band.

I had two teeth pulled back in October on a Friday. I was playing again on Monday. Depends on how much work your dentist had to do to get them out. Mine were an easy pull, so it might not be the same for you. Again, lots of factors are involved. I would ask the dentist.
