I just bought the book Celtic Music for Flute V2. and I have to say I am quite impressed. Its by? Jessica Walsh. The music is good and its skill leve is just a little bit above mine.

Discuss I would like your thought on this and if anyone has V1. I would like a reveiw on it.

Jessica Walsh's v1

I have both books and really enjoy them- I am partial to V1. A number of the music pieces are the same between the volumes but many are different. The CD has been very helpful in learning timing and tone and when you are ready you can play a duet!! I think Jessica has done a great job of putting together a song list, her variations are good and it is fun to modify them a bit to make them one's own. She also has a book on world music that has some interesting pieces in it however I have not had a chance to really go through that book yet.

Enjoy
