Flute/Piccolo case?

Post by CBayer »

I'm a freshman in high school, and I've been playing flute since fourth grade, and piccolo since sixth. I play an open hole, B foot Jupiter Capital Edition flute, and a Jupiter 305S piccolo, and I literally just got my 305S, like, three days ago, and I absolutely adore it. I bough t a Yamaha YPC-32 piccolo in seventh grade, and it was twelve years old then. It had a really nice French case, and it worked pretty well. But in October of 2010, the e flat key and fixture just fell off it, during an outdoor, night time marching practice. They guys at the music store said not to bother fixing the old thing again, and to just buy a new one. So, I saved my money and worked babysitting jobs, and here I am with this brand new, beautiful piccolo. But it didn't come in a French case. It's one of those awful, cheap, latch cases. I have a hard case that it fitted for both a flute and piccolo, but it doesn't fit the B foot on my flute. So, I want a SOFT case that I can put both my flute and piccolo in, but I want to keep them in their original cases. So, I was looking at this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001BA ... _itm_img_1 case, and it says that it has a pocket to fit a piccolo, but I really don't know if it will, because it doesn't give the dimensions of the pocket. So, basically, I'm asking if anyone has a case that serves the same purpose, and if they would be willing to let me know the dimensions of the piccolo pocket, as well as brand name and model number and such. I'd appreciate it lots <3
