I was in the concert band, jazz band, and choir at Caledonia High School in Terrace, BC, and now I'm in the University of Victoria Wind Symphony.

Lynn
I go to a highschool in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We don't have chairs in our band but I would probably be between 1st and 3rd chair in the Junior Band. I've been playing...hm. Four years now? Taking my grade two RCM in June, and I'm performing in a week at a festival. :)

Er, is marching band an US thing? The only one I've seen here doesn't accept woodwinds.

hmmm yes!! In England, if they do exist they certainly aren't known that well, please correct me if I'm wrong!!! We generally have wind bands, wind ensembles, concert bands, orchestras, brass bands, jazz bands etc but no marching bands

I go to a middle school in PA. I'm in regular concert band, wind ensemble (a step up from regular band), and I was in honors band, but that ended after the concert.
