I believe JL Smith Co. sells most of what you need. Pads, corks, spring wire, tools, burnishers, etc. etc. are all there. I am not sure about screws though...

here is a link.

Tools, pads, springs, corks, felts, etc. are available from these suppliers:

http://www.valentinopads.com/
http://www.ferreestools.com/
http://www.musicmedic.com/index.html
http://www.votawtool.com/

Allied Supply Corp. (no web site)
P.O. Box 288
Elkhorn, WI 53121-0288
United States
Toll-Free: 800-558-3226
Phone: 414-723-5455
Fax: 800-800-6189

Depending on the brand, you may be able to get pivot screws and occasionally key shaft rods (called "steels") from Votaw or Ferrees, but for most brands those must be ordered from the manufacturer (but some may only sell to repair shops). Votaw stocks parts for Gemeinhardt, Jupiter, and maybe a few others. Ferrees stocks some Selmer parts.

Many repair technicians can make replacement steels by cutting and threading the proper size drill rod, but they usually need the flute to do so. You may find a few shops that have old junker flutes that might be willing to sell parts. Try posting in the Yahoo repair groups. There are two repair groups there that I am aware of that you can join:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/bandrepairs/
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SaxophoneRepair/

The SaxophoneRepair group is far more active and most of the members repair all woodwinds including flutes.

If you want a really good book on flute repair and maintenance get "The Complete Guide To The Flute And Piccolo" by J. James Phelan and Lillian Burkart (of Burkart Flutes). It covers most general repairs and maintenance and lists the suggested tools that you should have.

Also, J.L.Smith sells a complete flute repair kit with tools and supplies. It includes the book "Servicing the Flute" by J.L. (Jeff) Smith.
