B foot or C foot

I'm lookin to get a new open holed flute and was wondering what the difference was in the b foor and c foot and which one is best reccomened.

Use which method works for you. My sax teacher can also play flute as well, but I have a better sound than her and shes spent tons of money on learning the "right" method. So whatever allows you to have a good sound, use it, get several different opnions about embourchre, if one makes your tone weak...

I wouldn't worry about it. I'm at an all girls high school in Northern Ontario in the senior band and in senior strings. Other than that I'm in wind ensemble at Cambrian college and No Strings Attached community band. Er, is marching band an US thing? The only one I've seen here doesn't accept wood...

Lakewood Ranch High School,Florida (blech, marching band camp in 110 degree weather)
I'm involved in the Marching Band and the Concert band, but both on my alto sax, I only double on flute. But my last year of middle school I played in the Flute Choir.

I actually double on flute (hence my screenname, this is my first post on here) and a guy that fixed my sax up (D# key was sticking badly) took old instruments like really beat up and unplayable, made them like new and sold them for like 100 bucks. So that's where my flute came from- my beloved W.T....
