Bansari flutes are very difficult to play and they all have different tunings . You need to get a teacher for them . I think western flute open hole would work but this isn't easy either both have their challenges

I actually do this on a open flute i have been practicing Ragas for 4 years now and its not easy since most of the music is in C# too . I also play the Bansari Flutes I have one in D and in C# . The slurring and bending of notes is easier on the Bansari flutes .

C flutist i agree but the intonation on the straight alto for me is better then the curved

and its easier especially the straight head joint takes getting use to. But all in all I love my alto

I have a chance to purchase a 2 year old Pearl Flute 9701 C foot Closed ts a handmade flute and the guy told me that new its worth 9500 for it. He will sell it to me for 2600 . Is this a good deal I had a 665 RBE Loved it but sold it because it was a little heavy .He is a Classical flutist so i thin...

The pearl flutes do not have a great resale value so you would not get the full value of it as its a used flute .So now it being over 10,000 for a new one maybe you could sell it for 6500 - 8000 at the most .

Well I can play passages that way too by doing a technique called Circular Breathing . Look it up its not easy took me 2 years to perfect

yes piccolo is difficult to play soft however have it checked out by a tech maybe it has a leak or issues and also piccolo can damage you rhearing permanently so i hope you are wearing ear protection :)
