Ok so I have played a few pieces that have a few notes slurred together but they also have staccatos about them. How do I play that?

so i have been trying to work on playing with vibrato, i can usually play high notes and low notes well but i have problems playing middle toned notes with it. any suggestions?

one thing our band director tells us to control our breathing is to take low note breaths. this means use your diaphragm to take breaths, your stomach should come outward instead of having your shoulders move upward. this has helped my breathing and playing. if this doesnt help then i honestly dont ...

if you are in marching band it would help to try to keep time with your foot, it will help with marching
if not then it doesnt really matter, whatever you need to do to keep time will work

hello! this week our band is having music camp (where we learn the music, not marching) and a lot of the freshmen are having intonation problems and nothing seems to help them. do you have any suggestions on ways they can improve their intonation?
