I play piccolo in marching band. I have recently noticed that my notes are unfocused. After looking at myself playing in the mirror, i have seen that i play out of the corner of my mouth. I have tried to change the position of my mouth but i havent been able to. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Im buying a piccolo for marching band and I was wondering what brands would be best. I have seen Conn-Selmer and Selmer-Bundy brands?? Also, I am wondering if a plastic body or a metal body piccolo would be best for marching. I have heard that a plastic body piccolo is easier to keep in tune in cold...
