Its always a pleasure to meet someone facing similar challenges....I am doing better these days....Practicing scales and sliding notes.....I can now play about 1/2 hr to 45 minutes before my fingering or notes suffer....I am doing well with the lowest register except C and F. Thanks! :-) Now i just need to work on my fingering- I still have to pause and find each new note....So that just means lots of practice. ...But I can sound the notes :-)

I just successfully played my first 2 octaves!!!! I had been stuck on the same 3 notes for a while, and suddenly.....it all came together :-)
I want to say thank you to those who have given me advice, because it has really helped :-)

I can play the other instruments i play for days and days... But I am new to the flute, and while i have lucked into a really nice flute, I can only practice for 10 or 15 minutes at a time before my fingers hurt and mouth quits blowing notes notes ...No problem with breathing thanks to playing nativ...
