Thanks for the information. I used Google when I first considered purchasing the instrument and found several of the links. The flute with the engraving looks very nice. Apparently this one isn't as old as I had anticipated. When I called the guy he said it was about 20 years old... The pictures are...

Has anyone ever seen these flutes or know much about them?
I saw one used and the previous owner (a senior citizen) said it's vintage...
I'm hoping to check it out this weekend... but was wondering if anyone knew if it was worth it...

Old Flute - A.H. Langlois
A few months ago I bought an 'antique' flute... from an estate sale, essentially. I was told it was ebony, but when I got it discovered it was ebonite. A really nice lady online looked at pictures and provided me with more information about the flute. But I'm still wondering if anyone else has heard...
