Needing help with Haynes
Hi, I'm fairly in the dark about any flute that's not modern, but I'm wondering about Haynes flutes and if they are really worth it? 1930's ish era. Is there anyone on this board knowledgeable about them that I could fire a few questions at, maybe via PM? I have my eye one one and need a few opinion...

I am heading into my last year of High School, and I'm considering learning Piccolo so I can double Flute/Piccolo, in Concert Band. I assume this will give me some advantage heading into University music, and also with orchestral stuff. I'm sitting (Standing?!) Grade 7 in 2 weeks, so was considering...

I had the same problem when I got my new Pearl, 'Sticky keys' on a new flute generally happen when you blow warm, moist air through - the pads don't respond well to this air and usually become a little unsettled.
