Do you memorise music?

I am learning a concerto for a concert in the spring and have to decide whether to memorise or not to memorise! What do you do? If you do memorise, how do you cope with the paranoia that you might forget it?! And how do you go about learning so much music? What techniques do you use? Alternatively, ...

Or check out the album of concertos by Alexa Still... she's great, and it sounds really zippy but yet musical. How are you going about tackling the practice of of the Griffes anyway? Thanks all - have ordered the sheet music for the hanson, griffes and rivier and will have a play through and see what I think!
