I'm surprised no one has mentioned Marina Piccinini. I've heard her live several times and its just amazing. Her CD's don't do her justice. Her tone is so powerful and her technique is incredible. If you have the chance, go to her masterclasses, totally worth it. You'll learn more from her in 20 min...
