oh wow, that all seems to prove very true, hmm i guess i have more thinking to do? but i would love some more opinions! as of right now im not sure, ive ruled out movement 2, but i love the rest of the three and have done all of them. I love the first movement, thats what first drew me to this piece...

yeah, Mozart is required for all the schools im auditioning for,,

right now i have Mozart G, Martin Ballade, Bozza image, and then I was thinking a good contrasting piece would be prokofiev sonata?
What do you think?

my teacher just recommended Martin Ballade because it showcases a lot in a few minutes,, what do you think?
I asked her about the Tulou, but she never said anyhtign about it,, she just was like the Martin is great!

so now i'm conflicted again..

Thank you! All of your information has been a huge help in my decision making process! What do you think about Poem by Griffes? im not sure if its a good piece for an audition or not. Ive played it many times and love the piece but im not sure how well it would fir for an audition.

Thank you. I totally understand what you were saying about the whole package and it makes a lot of sense. For almost every school a Mozart Concerto is required and I'm going to do the one in G. Bach is only required for a few schools but other than that most of them then add 2 contrasting works. Wha...

thank you! I've done my research for the college auditions and know everyhitng that they want from etudes and orch excepts etc.

i was just wondering what maybe some of you have ued for auditions?
idk im was thinkin of maybe dutilleux or sancan sonatine? any other Suggestions or comments?
