I am selling a like new Tortochet baroque flute with both A=415 and A=440 middle joints, built by Jeff Wuff in cooperation with professor Michael Lynn of Oberlin College. This is a revolutionary flute made with 3D printing, using a material which is a mix of wood and composite. It plays and sound wo...

Guo Tocco Flute in red. C Foot, Offset G, Pinless Mechanism. Item in US.
This flute is perfect, flawless. Practically in brand new condition. Used only twice. The only reason why I am selling it is because my teacher (sigh...) insists that I buy and play a silver flute...I paid $650.00 plus taxes for it. I guarantee the buyer that this flute is in impeccable new conditio...

Re: Baroque flute players, please help me!
I do cover the holes properly, also the proof is that I get a weak sound even when I play a note that requires only the first two or three holes to be covered. I believe it is a matter of embouchure. My standard C flute embouchure just does not work with this baroque flute,, and I'd like to get some...

Need tips to improve my baroque flute embouchure.
My usual C flute embouchure does not work with my new Aulos Stanesby Junior baroque flute. The sound that I get is weak, not full, with no color. While I was in the store to purchase the flute, the guy played it for me and he was able to get a warm full sound. Unfortunately the place is over one hun...

Now here is my problem: I am a 67 yrs old flute student, and although I cannor call myself an accomplished flute player, I never ha...

Re: I struggle to play the 2/3 lowest notes on my alto flute !
Yesterday I stopped by Flute World which is a 30 minutes drive from my home, and tested a brand new Pearl and a brand new Dean Jang (both student flutes models). With the Pearl flute I had exactly the same issue that I have with my Gemeinhardt: difficulty in playing the last couple of low notes. Wit...

I struggle to play the 2/3 lowest notes on my alto flute !
Hi! I just purchased a pre-owned Gemeinhardt alto flute, completely serviced and re-padded. When I try to play the lowest notes, especially the last couple, G and G#,I go to the higher octave. I mean: I have problems in keeping the lowest octave. And the few times that I manage to play them without ...

Re: Guo Tocco Plus?
I own a very nice refurbished Gemeinhardt M3S solid silver flute, and a Nuvo plastic flute that I always keep ready on a stand at home. I finally received a brand new Guo Tocco flute (the original model, with the detachable head joint but with the fixed C foot), and although I was very enthusiastic ...

Jupiter 507S flute with case, bought 3 months ago. Flute and case are new.
I purchased this very nice flute, brand new, three months ago at Eastside Music in Detroit, for my daughter, but she has not shown interest and practically the flute has been almost unused for three months. It is like new, in immaculate condition. No scuffs, scratches, dents, dings, never being drop...

For sale: New Yamaha 221 flute.
I hope that it is allowed to post a "for sale" ad ? Headjoint cork question...
Well... the genius who was working at the counter in the (very famous) store where I bought my new Yamaha 211 silver plated flute, insisted to show me how to move the cork inside the headjoint in order to get the perfect intonation. He took the plastic cleaning rod and forced it inside the headjoint...

Silver plated or nickel plated ?
Hi. I'd like to buy my first flute and I noticed that the Gemeinhardt 2SP and the Gemeinhardt 2NP have the same price, although the first is silver plated and the second is nickel plated.
Can you give me any suggestion/recommendation ? Thanks !
