You never mentioned your hardisk make.
Wether it is seagate or samsumg or any other brand. If it is seagate then u must visit seagate site where u can find some useful software to remap bad sectors.

Very brief Googling suggests between 500 to 600 for solid silver, 350 with solid silver head joint and plated body, 150 for plated.
I saw brief mention that they were made in Nogales. The flute version of the Mexiconn?

Purchasing an Alto Flute
Im using a Dimedici alto flute with a solid silver curved head joint. Im quite happy with it. The Dimedici has a beautiful quality of sound and I find it to be especially impressive with its fullness and clarity in the high range.

RUBBING too hard when cleaning flute
A lot depends upon the finish that the flute already has. Its always a good idea to check with the maker if you know who they are and have contact info for their particular recommendations. Something like a beeswax polish will probably work on top of most finishes without doing any harm. I dont know...

So happy to hear that your Kuz flute made it safely to Sweden I have one flute made from walnut, and one flute made by Kuz and I love them both...hmmm...maybe now I need a walnut flute made by Kuz I wish you many wonderful hours with your new flute Gerard
