i can't tung patterns 16th notes or any thing past that I've tried for months. All i get is this airy noise

Well thats it. I can't play Eb3. I can play all the other notes on flute except this one. I'm also haveing problems doing rips. Our band director gave us "After the love is gone" and we flutes have a rip form F4 to F5 and the song is writen in the key of F. So... any advice

the tunging seems to interup my tone alot and makes it imposible to play some notes. I'm I tunging too hevay or something

how do you pratic tunging sixeenth and notes above eighth notes

I'm lost on tunging. I normly just cut the air off really fast for stuff like sixteenth notes and stuff but my band directer says the right way as to lightly poke the tip of your tung.
