well from what i can tell playtesting the flutes i have been looking at its not so much remembering the fingerings and such that makes coming back to thew instrumenty hard... its like if you quit working out for years and started out right where you left off... nah, sometimes it just takes a bit for ppl to spot it... the forums from waht i can tell are not what they used to be , with said spam being the main culprit. Just what i can figure out from reading WAAAAAY older posts 0.oThunderlily wrote:My first post and all I get is spam from a betting site.

also im always looking for flute/ tuba (his main instrument) duets... im especially looking for one to suprise him with around either valen tines day or our anneversary (march 6th) if you have any pieces that may be useful plz link.

umm my husband wants to compose, do you think if i put you in contact with him perhaps you can give him som tips on getting started? He seems to be getting discouraged because tohugh hes in school for it and all he just doesnt know where to start on actually DOING it.

my poor flute took alot of abuse befire my three year old fot a hold of it.... pep band... nuff said... you know, tight quarters hyper teenagers.... :roll: stupid bleachers... not to mention one time a bunch of supid kids( i wont even call these tenagers cuz this was childish...) stole my flute from...

i feel that ive been out of practice long enough that perhaps a student flute IS the best route as my muscles are prolly WAAAY rusty... and as for flute brands... how do you feel about Bundy? not the bundy II or the bundy/selmer flutes. that would be what i started out on lol

i love how it describes the flute as warm sounding that totally supports the silver plating idea. do you guys thing as a refurbished flute site this place is legit? im VERY exited if it is!

wow! i had no idea that there was a competition for such a thing... im very interested in learning to play jazz on the flute... does anyone know where i can perhaps find a fairly simple jazz flute piece? something to help me get the feel of it , you know?

Flute materials
Can anyone tell me what this flute might be made from? i have found a site that sells refurbished , play tested flutes ( which i understand is no substitute for play testing it myself, but im kinda in a beggers cant be choosers situation and even the ones in pawn shops around here are more expensive...

i really hadnt ever thought about it... but its awesome to have this insight. i guess thats teh best thing about being a young flautist in these forums , im learning from others expirience and ideas! hehe
