Funny. I use the Bb thumb key for every Bb I come across, even if it's an accidental. Bad habit of mine.

Generally speaking, triple tonguing (T-K-T-T-K-T) is used in fast pieces in which notes are grouped in three (three-eight, six-eight, etc).
