I go to a highschool in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We don't have chairs in our band but I would probably be between 1st and 3rd chair in the Junior Band. I've been playing...hm. Four years now? Taking my grade two RCM in June, and I'm performing in a week at a festival.

We don't have any male flute/picc players at our school. It is really sad especially because all girl sections mean a lot of drama :!: I find that guys can add to the drama too :lol: but I mean, I could go for another male flute player or two. I know three in total...although the best flute player ...

I'd say just avoid Gemeinhardt all together
