When I was younger, I used to think flautist was a stupid word. But then I started saying it (even though I'm American), and now I'm used to it. I don't really cared what I'm called, as long as I get to play the darn thing! (As Phineas and flutepicc06 have said )

I want to go... but I still have to see what my parents say. It's a five hour drive, but I've done that loads of times, so it's not that long to me. Apparently you aren't a mind-reader; I was just going to say percussion. Them and the trumpets. Of course, the percussion might just get on my nerves because the majority of them are loud and obnoxious already... add cymbals or a pair of drumsticks and they're just unbearable! Actually I never knew there was such thing as the NFA convention. In fact, I didn't even know there was such a thing as a National Flute Associatioin until yesterday! LOL But if this year it's in Pittsburgh, maybe I can go. What happens at the convention?

Four years. Wow... now I think back to the summer between third and fourth grade... my mom got me my first flute and it took me forever to get a sound out... how much I've progressed!
