Hi there, I played this song memorized last year for a spring concert with 3 other piccolos. I remember how tough it was. Try playing through it really slowly, I mean absurdly slow and then work it up. It's best to learn it right from the start. Maybe alternate fingerings might help. Honestly I thin...

Yes! I love Children's March! My band will hopefully play it
again this year. I played it my sophomore year and I loved it. It has a fun

I have to do a research paper on different types of the
flute family. I have the basic ones such as picc, alto, bass,e-flat and

Hi, I heard a college band play
it and I got to sit right in front of the flutes. On "Ghost Train" I noticed the
flutes kinda puffed out their cheeks to get the wind sounding effect to bend the
notes. Maybe that could help? The piece sounds really fun, hope this helps![:)]
