im a loud picc player.. how do i fix this?

Have you ever heard of the circle of fifths?? I took a theory class years ago.. and what i do remember is the scales go in the order of: C F Bflat Eflat Aflat Dflat Gflat/Fsharp b e a d g chromatic... and c has no flats and f has 1 flat and Bfhas 2 flats and Ef has 3 flats and Af has 4 flats and Df ...

When you play the flute, you adjust your tuning by either pulling the headjoint in or pushing it back out... Generally, pushing in makes it more flat and pulling out makes it more sharp.

There are two piccs in our band (which has about 100 people) and I am one of them... I can be heard over all of them... I am incredibly and annoyingly loud.... Any words of wisdom to make me quieter??? Thanks!
