Does any one have an opinion on the Di Medici 911 rbs flute? Ronald I played one with the D4 headjoint last year. It was a very nice flute and seemed a good value to me BUT I didn't find it much different from the Jupiter 711. I didn't try the D2 or D1 headjoint that it normally comes with, however...

Jupiter JFL 611-r or the Gemeinhardt 3shb I've played both of these flutes. Both are good flutes that will serve you well. The Jupiter has a better scale (easier to play in tune). I have played a Gemeinhardt 3SB for the past 16 years. The only negative about this flute is its scale (and thus its intonation). The Pearl probably has a better scale.
