Well, i don't get drips from my flute
until about an hour into practicing. When it does start dripping, that signals

correct position of the lips

For me, i just make sure that my flute is
angled parallel to my lips. I also don't tilt my flute, just 180 degrees
according to the ground. Well, thats my correct way.

10k or 14k gold flutes are really expensive as we all know. Around $10,000. But $22,000?! i dunno if this brand/type flute is the best in the world. Is there any kind of
home-material-type-chemical you could use to clean and/or polish a nickel plated
flute? And what about a silver plated one too? ...And what about a 14k gold?

I think Brook Mays is the first
place to look for flutes. Not only do they have Yamaha, but they also own most
of the other large brand name flutes. This is where i got my student flute,

Yamaha

I own the 285SII, but i don't know anything about the 285S
itself. I know for a fact that the 285SII is the best student flute for the
Yamaha brand. C foot Inline G silver plated opened holed

When you buy a yamaha flute (anywhere in the
900 series), do you get both C foot and B foot? or just a choice of one of
them?
