Can anyone suggest any makes of metal headjoint that will fit a wood Selmer PC200 Piccolo? Also, what are some tricks on getting a head joint that is a smaller than the body to fit?

Headjoint Stopper/Cork Question

How far should the stopper be in/out? Also, I don't quite understand how or why this would be moved for tuning/tone purposes as opposed to moving the entire head joint. (I know you're not supposed to mess with the stopper.)

Actually, I was able to find someone who sold them - Carolyn Nussbaum Music Company (www.flute4u.com) I am surprised at how well it works, well works for me. However, I would still def try the Thumbport.

The reason I've been playing it that way is because I am having some horrible ergonomic problems with my right hand. I have the exact same problem on oboe (my primary inst). I went ahead and bought a ton kooiman thumb rest and it helps but doesn't solve the problem. I really don't know what to do.
