If you can look at the flute again it should say K.G. Gemeinhardt then under that it will say "Elkhart". Under that I'm guessing it will say M-1 or M-2. The M series is what Gemeinhardt made before they started manufacturing the SP. The M-2 has rolled tone holes where the M-1 does not. Either was it...
