well we dont really do it for diciplinary purposes!! its part of our calistetics...we mostly do it for endurance...u know 3 laps around the field..140 crunches 50 push ups and 50 sit ups!! its alot but its worth it...lol

thats not that bad!! mine was from 8-6:30 the first week and the next 2 weeks were from 8am - 8:30pm!!! and omg i live in Laredo,TEXAS so you can imagine the heat!!!!! horrible but i lived though it...do they make u all do push ups and sit ups and run laps and stuff??

well...my directors make the flutes have their flutes parallel to the ground outside on the field but when inside in concert seating we always have it slightly below below parallel...and yes..90 degrees all the time REALLY DOES HURT after 4 hours of marching practice!! hehe

im a tenth grader and im 15..ive been playing for 5 years and i love it!! its my only motive to go to school! hehe

does anyone own a Mirage Flute or piccolo?? my dad just ordered on for me but i need to know if they are good flutes! thanx!!
