I started playing because I liked the flute music played by Ian Anderson from the band Jethro Tull. I'm a fan of his music but when I looked for music to practice I fell in to play celtic stuff. I don't know why I play. I know why I started but...eh. I play because I want to play.

It always seems to me that people complain most about two notes. C# and high E. It's also been my experiance that these are the hardest as well.

The metronome only helps people who really use it. If the metronome is annoying then shut it off it’s not helping you then.

I wouldn't look too much into health effects in anything anymore. Or at least be sure it’s from a good source. A lot of things can be shown as beneficial. I have even read a report saying that looking at attractive women is healthy for men. The equivalent of 30 minuets of exercise. If it comes from ...

Well lets see.

Flute is easier.
Piccilo has a higher pitch.
Flute tend to be cheaper.

Most people start on flute because it's easer to learn and later the move up to piccilo because of instrumentataion in the band.

Now this seems to fit here.

My upper octive poor but my lower octive is good. This is because most of the music I pick is written in the lower register. Would it improve me greatly to play all my music up or will it not?

I just bought the book Celtic Music for Flute V2. and I have to say I am quite impressed. Its by? Jessica Walsh. The music is good and its skill leve is just a little bit above mine.

Discuss I would like your thought on this and if anyone has V1. I would like a reveiw on it.

What can you tell me prelude riccolo? I found one for 200$ bucks and wanted to know is it a really poor instrument that I should ignore.

The Advertisment reads.

I haven't bought a used flute. If you choose to buy a new one I can suggest you go online and look for name brands. I got a decent flute for 300$. That is actually a good price from my other optons of flute purchases but I don't know of yours.

Um. I think that Led zepplin had some flute in stairway to heaven. I think that Jethro Tull is the only one that uses it on a regularly. Ian Anderson said that the reason he started the flute is because there was no compition for the hardest flute rocker.
