okay, when in marching band (like i am) and you are marching you are to always have your flute at a 90 degree angle. but, when doing concert band, you may angle your flute downward. not too far. like 70 degrees. okay?.

i play a Delphi professional with open holes, 24k gold plated keys, B-foot, split -'E" mechanism. Very good quality flute.

in the future, if your band director doesn't tell you to quickly put away your instruments (woodwinds) if you have a pocket or something to put it in do it anyway, then later explain to them why you did that. having it in your pocket won't make it perfect safe but, less harm will come of it. as for ...

Does ANYONE know how to transpose guitar music to flute? is there any way? what about piano music, can you transpose that to flute??
