kryzmunkey I see you changed your post to no longer
defend me and the truth. Good idea, that will save you a great deal of trouble
here.

FluteloversMom for whatever reasons, probably because we had different opinions on a subject, has chosen to attack me constantly and knock my knowledge. I have not done anything negative to her in return. I will be the one leaving as I spend all of my time here helping others and defending my opinio...

gum and lip gloss

This place has become more about saying what makes
people happy and in a way that pleases them instead of sharing information and
opinions. Sad Apparently its insulting to be informed that there is saliva in
your instrument. I give up. People want to be stroked not informed

I would love to have an explanation of how I was sarcastic so I can avoid it in future posts. If you can find anyone that can explain to me that it isn't saliva in the moisture you blow into your flute, I am always willing to learn. I did not say anything about DNA, as I don't find it relavent. I di...

I simply share information and opinions, nothing more. In doing so I have been insulted, attacked, lied about and told I know nothing without support from the administration, not complaint to them from me. My words have been twisted and imaginery opinions inserted when nothing of the kind was in my ...

high note trouble

I wont disagree with fluteloversmom, however, many people discribe it as not blowing harder but since the same amount of air has to travel through a smaller hole it has to travel faster. A common beginner mistake is to tighten their embouchure and try and blow real hard.(overblowing as she said) Try...

I would love to know how you blow into a flute without blowing in saliva? I wonder if you "flute mechanic" has too many pads sitting around and is looking for a customer. You blow air out of your mouth that is basically at body temperature and coming out of a mouth that is full of moisture. That moi...

high note trouble

Yes almost all beginners need time and practice to get good. My two cents worth of recommendation is go back to practicing with just the headjoint. Cover the end and produce a low note with a relaxed embouchure having the opening on the wide side. After you find you are able to consistantly produce ...

yamaha or pearl??

You know MattMom I read my post over 3 times I still haven't seen where I said Pearl was garbage. I did see where I said they would be good second choice worth checking out. Maybe second choice translates to garbage in your world but not in mine. If you like Pearl, Fluteworld has them at about 40% o...

Sorry the truth hurts so much Willi. Hope also it doesn't hurt to much to tell you 136 IQ isn't all that. Actually genuis is generally accepted as starting at 140. But hey your close maybe you could squeeze in under the standard deviation. But you sound like you have done well for yourself anyway[:d...

No practice time!

I think worrying about people sleeping at 6 PM is a bit
obsessive. You are either way to nice or trying to avoid practice. Besides in no
time you will sound so good you neighbors will ask you to open your windows so
you can play them to sleep.[]

question!

Yes That is the simple answer. It plays a note lower and supposedly makes the higher notes sound better. More complicated answer is that many professionals play C flutes, so don't think a B foot is a must. Simply a more flexible option for someone that will only own 1 flute. You rarely need that low...

yamaha or pearl??

Pearl has a unique construction that some people hate and think is just a gimmick that doesn't do the job. So many people dislike Pearl and it affects resale value should you step up. But it really depends on what you are looking for and what your budget is. There are reasons Pearl's cost less. If y...
