Trill?
We're playing Stars and Stripes Forever in our spring concert. The piccolo solo in the end has a trill from C flat to D flat and it's not in my trill chart. Does anyone know how to finger this?

Festival Music
My band just got our music for next year at Festival. We are playing Helios, American Faces, and Incidental Suite. The fingerings in American Faces are so difficult to play. Does anyone know alternate fingerings for B4 and C4 to make playing it any easier?

Here in Virginia you have to be top 3 flautists in your district. It's really competitive too. They have Orchestra (3 flutes), Symphonic (12 flutes), and Concert (12 flutes). Even with three bands 100 flutes try out each year and all take private lessons with proffessionals from the Richmond Orchest...

Re: Variations on a Korean Folk Song
Has anyone ever played this? I love it! Our band is going to play it this year. The only part I hate is in the variation marked Larghetto. [This is where the oboe solo is.] The flutes have this beautiful part but I play piccolo part, which is COMPLETELY excluded from it so i sit there in envy. [Lol...
