I'm in an honor band now, but I don't really consider it an honor band. Every one is so bad! First chair, first band, that's me. ^^ It ain't hard. I don't even have to try. XD That's how bad everyone is here.

A plastic one would be best for your situation. I played a silver Gemeinhardt student model (4SP I think) from 8th and throughout high school marching band and it did its time, but after a few seasons and tons of field shows, it got worn out and got beaten up a lot. I play flute and plan on playing piccolo next year when I'm in high school marching band.

I wanted to know which was the best brand to play when outside, but could last me inside as well (for at least a year when I get a better one).

A cheap, but heavy duty piccolo.

I would recommend Yamaha too. I play a Yamaha 381, and it was totally a step up.

So how would I start practicing double tounging? Or rather, what is an exercise I can do to make my tounge understand (I feel so dumb, I'm trying to get out the right words and they're not coming out! XD).

Oh, I do like this site. I was looking at Air a few times today (different arrangments) and so far I've liked this arrangment the best.

Heh. Personally, I would say, Ian Anderson and James Galway. They're like gods to me.
