Jeesh!!!!!! I have so much to learn. :roll: It sounds like a VERY great honor so I must congratulate you, but I've never heard of the Macy Parade...Does it just take place in NY or all over the US??? Again, Congratulations!!!!!

Well, I was first flute ever since I started moving but whenever I went to honors Band Id be in 7th chair IN THE 2ND BAND!!!! Its kind of embarrassing when all of your friends are with you :oops: But really, it is a great relief after everyone expecting you to play "perfectly"! :D

I know this isnt my topic, but would the same go for left shoulder pains?I mean does everyone go through periods of shoulder pain????I usually hold my flute pretty level and my backs up straight, but I get horrible pains in my left shoulder if I play too long. OK, so I have had this case since Thursday and it seems to be working fine. I just got a lyre/flip folder cuz we'll be marching Friday at Six Flags (4 those of you that know what it is). Yeah, uhhhhhhhhh, why exactly do you want a purple cleaning rod???? You might be able to find a cheap plastic one, though I wouldn't reccomend it. No offense but you will be the only one who cares about having a purple cleaning rod. Everyone will loathe you or be jealous....

Thanks everyone! New question. I basially want a bag that can hold just my flute and piccolo plus some smaller items such as pencils, tuner, etc. I think getting some dimensions would help me find a case that fits the flute pretty well. Anyone?
