I hope you only use that nailpolish idea on very cheap models. For that a drop of fairly weak loctite should work better and be more permanent... I suggested teflon tape or even a bit a saran wrap as a temporary solution and because they are not chemicals and can easily be taken off and repaired... ...

Armstrong Vs Artley... any difference?
This one is quite easy. They are the same. Armstrong is owned by the same company as Artly and if you have equivalent models they are exactly the same. The same identical instrument with different names engraved on the joint. Many makers and big name retailers do this... Same theory with %99 of car ...

Tuning
You dont really need to tune your flute. You keep your flute in tune by how you play using your embroucher. Play a note on your piano and try to match it with your flute. If your pianos in tune and you match the note youll know your in tune for that note. I find it much easier to buy a Autoranging m...

oF course plumbers or teflon tape is only a quick
temporary solution. A repair shop will definatly be able to cure your problem.
If this problem comes back again, fairly quick..I suggest a different repair
shop.

I have no clue what i am doing!
I would really suggest a new(or used) flute if you want to play serious. But IF youve had a flute thats been in your family for a long time I suggest taking it to get restored. Its very likly that the pads are very old and screws may be rusted in or stuck, Probably needs replating too. But I really ...

Teflon Tape! A little nonsticky teflon tape should
work. Just put a little TINY bit around the treads. Will fill in the gaps of the
threads to make it a tighter fit. MAKE sure to only use a LITTLE. Teflon tape is
also called plumbers tape.
