B#, that's what I meant, lol.

And I figured out why it wasn't sounding right- I forgot a recurring accidental!

Thanks for the help, though.

A#?

What's the fingering? I've come across it in a piece, in a group of eigth notes, surrounded by a B and then a C. So I thought a A# was equal to either a B or a C, because I remembered being told that once, but it just doesn't fit with the piece.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What is Your Opinion on Male Flutists?

Firstly, don''t be offended by
my question, I was only wondering what other people thought. And as for me, I
think guys playing the flute are fine. I have no idea why flute has become such
a feminine instrument.

How many flutes in your band ?

We don't have a very good mixture of instruments either... We don't have an even amount of low players (one barry sax, one tuba, one baritone, and two trombones), but we have about 20- 25 trumpets (all of which are male), 20 clarinets, one french horn, five percussion.... All in all, we have about 5...

What kind of flute do you play ?

Hmmm... my very first flute was about ten years old when I got it. So one day, when I took it to the shop to repair a small problem (the cork fell off the E flat key), I found that my flute was SO OLD that it was out of tune and always would be. It seems that it was just built deferently than most m...

how much diffrent is a flute form a Piccolo?

Just like she said-
piccolo is very fun, but it's hard if you haven't played it before... I belive
that it's a full octive higher than a normal flute. []

Bored or Frustrated with your Band?

Ugg... I've been playing for
(counts on fingers) four years now. I always feel that my band class is so
boring... which is why I always work ahead in class. My music is so easy... [:(]

Don't worry! I got my braces (top AND bottom)
about 6 months ago. My playing hasn't changed one bit.... The day after I got
them, I was playing in class just like everyone else! [;)]
