new flute
I just bought a new Muramatsu and it is wonderful. However, I find that
I am occasionally hitting an overtone instead of the intended note. Is this just
an adjustment period, or could something be a little off with the flute. I am
used to a Gemeinhardt, with only a silver headjoint.

Split E vs donut
How does everyone feel about tone , intonation, etc of
a split E versus having a "donut" placed? I know a donut costs a lot less.
Thanks.

Should I buy an offset G pro flute?
I have been playing a Gemeinhardt open holed in line G flute for 13 years. I am going to upgrade to a professional model..either a Yamaha or Sankyo. I really don''t know if I should switch to an offset G. Could anyone tell me what they prefer? I have small hands, but haven''t really had a problem wi...

Jaw problem
I have Tmj and play the flute. I wear a special nightguard
at night to prevent clenching. I don't eat very hard or chewy foods..I'm sure
after the initial flare up, you'll be able to play.
