Thanks, you are right, there is a very small and unclear engraving that I haven't noticed. It's written 3B so it should be MZ-3B which I don't find among new Miyazawa head joint styles.
thank you very much!

How to recognize Miyazawa head joint type?
Hi, I have an old Miyazawa pa 201R for sale, and some people asked me about the head joint cut but on the head joint is not indicated anything related to the head joint, and the only thing written is the material (925). Does anybody have an idea how i can know the head joint type.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Muramatsu DS or Miyazawa 402
Thanks for your reply. I don't mean that Muramatsu is better than Miyazawa, I meant specificly Muramatsu Ds model maybe is superior to Miyazawa 402 model, at least in term of cost, a new Muramatsu Ds costs about 50% more than Miyazawa 402 and it is completly made of solid silver (including keys). I ...

Hi, I want to upgrade my flute from an intermediate yamaha flute to a professional one. Re: Any online place to buy straubinger pads??
If you have never repadded a flute, then steer clear of straubingers, A lot of repairers who do it for a living struggle doing flutes with normal pads. Being a mech eng, means you have a good understanding of mechanical items, it does not give you a sense of touch which is whats needed to do flutes...

Re: Any online place to buy straubinger pads??
Since you are in Italy, I'd recommend getting your pads from Music Center in Italy: http://www.musiccenter.it/ Thanks a lot for your useful link, it seems that they have a very wide range of products even though, I think their prices are a little high. Have you ever repadded a flute, using normal f...
